A FREE workshop at Kaslo Family Centre with Heather Broad and Samantha Zaytsoff, early childhood educators and mamas. Tuesday, November 26. 10:00-12:00. Childcare and Snacks provided. Join a group of parents in a supportive atmosphere to learn and discuss:
- understanding your child’s behaviour
- how to support them and yourself through challenging moments (bring your examples! We will walk through examples of how a parent might respond to various scenarios)
- moving beyond punishments and rewards
- co-regulation
- guidance strategies
- teachable moments
- creating relationships based on trust and connection

- If you’d like you may also provide examples of challenging situations you are hoping the speakers will address (e.g. bedtime and mealtime struggles, sibling/peer relationships, meltdowns in public, daycare drop off etc etc).
