Raising Children with Money Sense

A workshop for parents of young children with Barb Szuta from Columbia Basin Alliance for Literacy.

Topics to include:

  • Guiding children toward a healthy relationship with money
  • Teaching kids the basics of money management
  • Introducing the ‘spend, save, and share’ approach
  • Navigating allowances: when to start, why they matter, and how much to give.

Tuesday, Jan 14th. 9:30-11:30. Kaslo Family Centre. Childcare and snacks provided. Register with Barb Cyr by emailing barbcyr@kaslo.services or calling 250-353-7691 ext 209.

Parents from Meadow Creek, Argenta and other outlying areas: if you are living with low income, you are welcome to inquire about gas vouchers to support your participation (pending supply).

Please provide the following information when registering: your name, names and ages of any children you will be bringing, your phone number, and any food allergies.
